Congratulations to the under 12 girl's team from Cumann Peil Ban Daingean Ui Chúis on winning the North Kerry Div 2 Shield Final. They encountered John Mitchell's at Na Gaeil Pitch in Tralee on Saturday 14 April last . Spectators were thrilled by the sportsmanship, skill and athleticism of the young players . An early rain shower did not dampened the spirit and enthusiasm of the youngsters as they ran onto the pitch. Conditions improved as the game progressed and the triumphant Dingle team went on to score 6-9 to 3-5. The first score of the game came from the Dingle team. They settled quickly, played a brilliant first half and maintained their lead until the final whistle of the game. Congratulations also to the John Mitchell's team which put up a fair and sporting challenge.
