Castlegregory Notes: Information Centre, Tailor’s Row,Castlegregory.

Opening Hours: The Visitor Information Centre is now open daily. See opening hours displayed at the Centre. A wide variety of services are available including broadband access, coloured photocopying!
Refuse & Recycling Collection: Community Refuse/Recycling every Thurs. from 10am to 11am. @ West End Community Hall.
Recycling Bags available at Information Office, Price €3 per bag. Only bags with the tag on will be accepted. Refuse €6 per bag.
Whist: Whist every Thurs. evening from 8.30pm in the Club.

Kerry Cancer Support: A Fundraising Dance for Kerry Cancer Support Group will be held on Saturday 12th May @ The Castlegregory Clubrooms from 9pm to 12pm.Please Support.
The Kerry Hospice Foundation wish to sincerely thank everyone who participated in the Annual Good Friday Sponsored Walk, and also to thank all who gave so generously in donations.Your kindness contributes enormously to maintaining the care and services of the Hospice team and to progress with the Palliative Care Unit.

Community Games
County Finals Results:  Local children have been taking part in various competitions since January in both local and County competitions.  Well done to all who have participated and hopefully enjoyed our competitions.  We will be visiting schools shortly with medals for Art, Model-Making and Draughts.

Special mention to Niamh O’Connell who has qualified for Nationals Finals in Athlone in Swimming by winning gold at County Finals in Under 14 Freestyle –  well done Niamh!
County Athletics/Field Events:  The following children qualified for County Finals in Athletics & Field Events to be held in Castleisland on 23/24 June.  Training is held each Sunday at 12.30 in the GAA Field and all children who qualified and intend competing in Castleisland should attend.

Athletics/Field Events Training:
Training for children who have qualified for Castleisland every Sunday 12.30 GAA Field –– we will see everyone back on Sunday 13th. Anyone interested in being on a relay team give your name to Colette, Mairead or Margaret (under 10, 12,13,14,15,16 relays)

Girls Soccer Under 12 & Under 15 – takes place in Mastergeehy on Sunday 20 May – bus will be available.  
Gaelic Football Under 10 Boys & Girls – Competition Monday 4 June – names to Nina Long or Padraic O’Connell as soon as possible.
