Only A Few Places Left On The Men’s Cookery Course!
There are only a few places left on the Men’s Cookery course currently advertised by North and East Kerry Development in Dingle.

The course starts in October, one evening a week for 6 weeks. In addition to learning a new skill, the aim of the course is to provide a social outlet for men. The course programme is negotiable – you will have the opportunity to discuss what you would like to do with the tutor. The course is partly subsidised by NEKD, there will be a minimum cost for participants, but it will be affordable to all.
Once this course has been successfully completed, we would like to continue on with something else. The eventual aim is to move towards establishing a support group for men in West Kerry.

Is chúrsa é d’fhir amháin - fir atá dífhostaithe, fostaithe páirt-aimsearach, éirithe as oibre agus nach bhfuil ag súil leis an geimhridh.
Tá sé ar intinn againn an chúrsa a thosnú i mí Deireadh Fómhair agus go leanódh sé i gcóir 6 seachtain. Ní amháin scileanna cócaireachta nua atá i gceist, ach spás nó áit soisialta a cruthú d’fhir.
Beidh seans ag na rannphartaithe clár an chúrsa a leagadh amach i dteannta an teagascóir agus plé a dhéanamh an mbeadh suim acu leanúint ar aghaidh nuair a bheidh an chúrsa seo thart.
Beidh formhór do chostas an chúrsa clúdaithe ag NEKD, beidh íoscostas do rannphartaithe. Ba mhaith linn ar deireadh “Men’s Shed” a oscailt ar an leithinis. One-parent families are welcome to drop into the North and East Kerry Development office at the old CBS, An Mhainister, John St., Dingle any Tuesday morning at 9.30am for an informal coffee and chat.
